Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics: Jaylen Brown tells NY Times he’s deserving of All-NBA team

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown is having a career year across the board. He’s averaging 26.8 points per game on 49 percent shooting from the floor and 33.8 percent from 3-Point range.

In addition, Brown also grabs 6.9 rebounds per game, which is third on the team and dishes out 3.3 assists per game, which is fifth on the team.

It’s been a pleasure to watch Brown evolve into the dominant player we’ve seen for most of this season. Which leads me to say this: Brown is a top-15 player in the NBA this year and it’ll be hard to convince me otherwise.

Out of players who take at least 20 shots per game, Brown ranks ninth overall in the NBA this season shooting 49 percent from the floor, and ranks 11th with 26.8 points per game.

Here’s what Brown said about if he should be All-NBA:.

Brown has played in 85 career playoff games, averaging 17.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and two assists per game with shooting splits of 47/37/75.

I agree with JB. I believe he’s one of the best players in the world, which makes him at least a top-15 player in the NBA.

It’s worth mentioning that if Brown makes an All-NBA team, he’ll unlock his supermax eligibility, which looks to be around $290 million.
