The Boston Celtics signed 6-foot-8 forward Taylor Funk to an Exhibit-10 contract, allowing him to attend training camp and compete for Boston’s last two-way contract or possibly the available roster spot they have open in Boston, sources tell Bobby Manning if CLNS.

Funk had a great college season between St. Joseph’s and Utah State, playing in 154 career games averaging 12.3 points on 42.7 percent shooting from the field and 35.7 percent from behind the 3-point arc.

He went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft and spent the summer playing in Summer League with the Miami Heat.

Funk is a great addition to the Celtics training camp roster. He’s likely competing with guard DJ Steward who Boston signed earlier in the summer by acquiring his rights.
