Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Jaylen Brown believes 2023 was a good year for Celtics basketball

The Boston Celtics won 68-games in 2023 with championship aspirations in sight and raising Banner 18 appearing to be closer than ever for the organization.

There’s a lot to look forward to in 2024 for the Celtics, as they’re currently sitting at the top of the NBA with a 26-6 record.

With the flip of a new calendar year, Jaylen Brown believes the Celtics are in a great place in 2024 as he’s excited to get the new year started.

“New Year’s is one of my favorite holidays. It’s like an end and a beginning all at the same time. You’re able to let stuff go, but also manifest what you want in the future. I’m excited. I’m excited for us, we’re playing great basketball and we’re on pace. I definitely see where we can improve as a team, as a unit chemistry-wise, toughness-wise, mentality-wise. I like the direction that we’re moving. It was definitely a good year for Celtics basketball.”

After the Celtics loss to Miami in the Eastern Conference Finals, GM Brad Stevens knew he had to make changes in order for this team to win a championship. In doing so, the Celtics are now the best team in the league and don’t appear to be taking their foot off the gas pedal any time soon.
