The Boston Celtics took care of business in the first round against the Miami Heat, ending the series in five-games and earned six-days off in between their next game, to which their opponent is still to be determined.
At practice today, head coach Joe Mazzulla pumped in crowd noise and booing over the sound system to try to replicate a real game situation to make his team feel the pressure.
During this, Jaylen Brown was practicing from the free throw line, which he struggled from in the first round, only making 45 percent of his attempts- finishing 9-of-20 from the line.
Derrick White was also working on shooting through the noise and the boos being pumped-in by his coach.
These are great exercises for the Celtics to go through considering they’ll be on six-days rest before they play next and still don’t know who their opponent is.
