Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Kristaps Porzingis moving well and shooting at Celtics practice

Boston Celtics big man Kristaps Porzingis returned to practice for the first time since his soleus injury last week, as he was doing simple and stationary work on the court.

At practice today, Porzingis was seen actually maneuvering around the court well and taking shots from the post.

Porzingis has missed the last four games and will likely miss his fifth game tonight, making it two weeks since he initially injured his right calf on Apr. 29 in Miami.

Boston might be able to get by the Cleveland in the Semifinals without Porzingis, a task that’s proven to be easier said than done, but it’s fair to say that they’ll need him in the Eastern Conference Finals.

At this point, getting him back on the court sooner than later might be the ideal scenario considering where the playoffs currently are with the Finals only around the corner.
