Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics 2024-25 Schedule Breakdown

The Boston Celtics released their schedule for the 2024-25 season. In what’s been an eventful offseason for the franchise, let’s take a look at what the defending champions have ahead of them this season.

Here is a month by month breakdown of the 2024-25 schedule:

The Celtics open their season at home against the New York Knicks which is “Banner Night” for Boston. It’s fair to say that New York could be Boston’s biggest challenge in the East this season.

October also features the new and improved Milwaukee Bucks in Boston and then they’re on the road to Indiana for the first time since the Eastern Conference Finals.

To start November, the Celtics have their first back-to-back game of the year, on the road in Charlotte, against former assistant Charles Lee as he became the head coach of the Hornets in the offseason.

The biggest game yet is going to be on Nov. 6 in Boston when the Golden State Warriors come to the TD Garden. It’s fair to say that the Celtics fans have a few things to say to head coach Steve Kerr, who benched Jayson Tatum during the Olympics.

The Celtics will have three total back-to-back games this month: two against CHA to start off the month. Nov. 12-13: at home vs ATL, at BKN. Nov. 24-25: home vs MIN and LAC.

The Celtics are running it back with the same team to defend their championship title, it’s something that GM Brad Stevens believes is important for this group.
