After he went undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft, guard Milos Uzan landed with the Boston Celtics for Summer League and he’ll continue working towards his NBA dreams during training camp with the Celtics on an Exhibit-10 deal.
In four summer games, Uzan averaged 9.2 points, five rebounds, and 4.2 assists in 28.4 minutes per game with one start.
Although his shooting percentages aren’t too impressive in the stat sheets, Uzan displayed to have a complete package in his game; one that might be worth Boston investing into.
Uzan’s Summer Totals (4 games):
- 37 points (12-of-37 FG, 7-of-18 3PT)
- 20 rebounds
- 17 assists
While on an Exhibit-10 deal, Uzan will be competing in training camp for a spot within the Celtics organization, likely starting in Maine on a two-way contract to better develop and grow as a player with Boston keeping close eyes on him.
For what it’s worth, Boston currently has two available two-way contracts to issue and Uzan has a solid chance to earn one of those by the end of training camp. I think he brings a style to the court that the Joe Mazzulla-led Celtics wants to have on the team.
After Boston’s fourth summer game, Uzan said that he thinks he has an opportunity with Boston to make the team or showcase himself for all the other teams in the league.
“I feel like I’m a pretty good point guard and I feel like that’s what they [Celtics] needed, especially on the Summer League team as well. So, I feel like I got a good shot and a good opportunity here. And I’m just trying to make the most of it honestly.”
During his four-year college career, Uzan was primarily a Day 1 starter for two different programs and thrived in his role as starting point guard. He started in 133 of 144 games, averaging 9.9 points, three rebounds, 3.9 assists, and one steal per game on 42/36/74 shooting splits.
