The Boston Celtics outlasted the Heat in Miami 100-96 in Game 7 on Sunday night and have a date with the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.
It was Jayson Tatum who led the way for the Celtics with 26 points (4-7 from deep), grabbed 10 rebounds and made six assists in 46 minutes.
Tatum was named MVP and was awarded the inaugural Larry Bird Trophy, going to the Most Valuable Player in the Eastern Conference Finals.
