The Boston Celtics are relying on Robert Williams to make a strong comeback next season and there is no doubt about it considering they didn’t add to the position this offseason. But will he be ready?
The last time we saw Rob, the Celtics cleared him to play down the stretch in the playoffs and eventually in the Finals last season even though he didn’t feel confident in doing so.
With an offseason of rest and recovery, Williams is poised to pick up where he left off as arguably the best defender in the NBA. He’s a game changer on the court and impacts the Celtics in so many ways with his versatility and size.
The Celtics will only go as far as Williams can carry them and we saw that last season.
