Before Romeo Langford was drafted by the Boston Celtics, he became a basketball legend in the state of Indiana.
He graduated from New Albany High School in 2018 as Indiana Mr. Basketball, a five-star recruit, and the seventh best player in the country.
As a senior, Langford averaged 35.5 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 3 steals, and 1.9 blocks per game in 2017-18. He finished high school with 2,343 points in 75 games, averaging 31.2 points per game for his high school career.
In recognition of Langford, New Albany High School will be renaming their infamous Dog House basketball court, Romeo Langford Court. The ceremony was held last night.
This is an incredible honor for Langford who has always held his Indiana community close to his heart.
