The Boston Celtics went into MSG for the first time this season on Saturday night and couldn’t miss a shot, making 27 3-pointers, setting a franchise and an NBA record along the way en route to a 133-18 victory over the Knicks.
Boston’s impressive victory was without big man Luke Kornet, who was seen before the game by CLNS Media’s Josue Pavon and Bobby Manning, as mentioned in The Garden Report Podcast.
It was later reported by NBC Sports Boston’s Abby Chin that Kornet left the team for personal reasons and won’t be available for their upcoming road trip to Memphis for a Monday night game with Grizzlies.
We’re not going to speculate on anything but we’re hoping all the best for Kornet.
