Boston Celtics: Joe Mazzulla is the favorite to win Coach of the Year

The Boston Celtics are sitting at the top of the NBA with a 13-3 record led by head coach Joe Mazzulla in his first year as coach after being thrown into the mix at the last minute. He’s done an exceptional job and it looks like the Celtics have barely missed a beat.

Mazzulla has done so well that he’s the favorite to win Coach of the Year according to BetOnline.

Joe Mazzulla would be the first Celtics head coach to win Coach of the Year since Bill Finch in the 1979-80 season when the Celtics finished with a 61-21 record.
