The Boston Celtics took down the Miami Heat last night 134-121 on the shoulders of a monstrous 49 point and 11 rebound double-double from Jayson Tatum.
Tatum finished the game shooting 15-25 from the floor for 49 points and made eight 3-pointers along with getting to the line 12 times while making 11 of them.
Tatum was feeling it early in this game, connecting on three 3-pointers in the first quarter. He went on to score 16 points in the first quarter, 12 in the second, 13 in the third, and eight in the fourth quarter after sitting out most of it.
At the end of the game, Tatum acknowledged that it felt good to make some 3-pointers after starting out the season struggling somewhat from behind the arc.
Tatum is undoubtedly the front runner for the 2022-23 MVP Award.
