The Boston Celtics start a six-game road trip today in Brooklyn that’ll have them go up to Toronto for a back-to-back and into the west coast over the next two weeks to see Phoenix, Golden State, and then both LA teams on back-to-back nights to conclude the trip.
The Celtics released their injury report last night as Marcus Smart was hit with a QUESTIONABLE tag with a left hip contusion he suffered Friday night at home against Miami.
With Boston playing in back-to-back games against the Nets and Raptors on Sunday and Monday, it might be wise for Smart to sit out one of those two games early on in the road trip.
Smart has already said he’d be missing time throughout the season to manage an ankle sprain, there’s nothing wrong with load management and rest days, I think that will be best for Smart on this road trip.
