Jaylen Brown is averaging career-high’s across the board this season and it’s being overlooked due to the Boston Celtics having an MVP front runner in Jayson Tatum this season, it’s a good problem to have, don’t get me wrong.
However, it’s important to also give Brown the proper recognition he deserves as he’s playing at an All-NBA level this season. In fact, NBA analyst Stan Van Gundy has Brown listed as an All-Star starter this season.
He’s averaging 27.0 points per game on 49.2 percent shooting from the field, 7.2 rebounds, while hitting 80.2 percent from the free throw line, all of which are career-highs.
Brown should be an All-Star this season and there’s no doubt about it. But he’ll need your vote more than anything, as today counts for three-times per vote.
Furthermore, it’s hard to believe that Brown isn’t worthy of All-NBA this season. He’s most definitely a top-15 player in the NBA right now, it’ll be hard to make an All-NBA list without JB on it.
