The Boston Celtics released an injury report ahead of tomorrow’s game vs the New Orleans Pelicans, what will be the first game of a back-to-back, before Boston travels to Brooklyn for a Thursday battle with the Nets.
Rob Williams is listed as questionable with left knee injury rehab, suggesting the possibility of him being sidelined for Wednesday’s game vs the Pelicans.
The interesting part of this is Al Horford, who usually only plays one of the two games of a back-to-back.
With Rob not available tonight vs the Pelicans, it’s safe to say Al will play tonight and sit out Thursday in Brooklyn.
Marcus Smart is also still on the injury report with a left knee contusion, an injury received on Saturday in San Antonio, which forced him to miss the last game vs Chicago on Monday night.
For the Pelicans, they’ll be without Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, and Herb Jones for this battle in Boston.
We’ll continue to monitor the injury report for any updates prior to tomorrows 7:30 PM tip.
