The Boston Celtics defeated the Charlotte Hornets at the Spectrum Center last night in a 122-106 blow out for their 32nd win of the season.
Jayson Tatum finished with a game-high 31-points on 12-of-27 shooting from the floor and had nine rebounds and six assists on the night.
After the game, LaMelo Ball was asked what went wrong for the Hornets in this game vs the Celtics and his response was perfectly said:
“Jayson Tatum got hot.”
Tatum turned it on when he needed to, I guess, but the strong factor in this game was Malcolm Brogdon, who scored 30-points on 11-for-17 shooting.
Regardless, Ball isn’t wrong. Tatum and Brogdon changed the course of this game, with the help of Rob Williams and Al Horford, of course.
The Celtics will play the Hornets again on Monday afternoon on MLK Day at the Spectrum Center.
