The Boston Celtics injury report continues to improve everyday as players are recovering well and making their ways back to the court.
Derrick White left Saturday’s game vs Charlotte early in the first quarter due to a neck injury that turned out to be a left neck strain. White was upgraded to available for today’s game in Charlotte, which is a good sign to see from him.
Jaylen Brown remains OUT with an adductor injury that’ll likely keep him sidelined for at least another week.
Danilo Gallinari also remains OUT, although it’s worth mentioning he’s doing well in his recovery and it’s hard not to believe he could make an appearance at some point during the season or even the playoffs (if he’s still in Boston).
Al Horford, Rob Williams, Malcolm Brogdon, and Marcus Smart are all not on today’s injury report heading into this matinee game this afternoon.
It’s worth mentioning that Jayson Tatum is going through some things with his hand/wrist/fingers that’s worth keeping an eye on as the season progresses.
We’ll continue to monitor the injury report today as the Celtics play an early afternoon game today on MLK Day in Charlotte. Tipoff at 1:00 PM.
