Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Celtics Notebook: Rob Williams presence allowed Derrick White to dunk

In the first quarter of the Boston Celtics blowout victory on Wednesday over the Nets, Derrick White essentially jogged into the paint for an easy dunk.

Why was it easy? Rob Williams.

That’s right. Rob was in the area, to which the Nets had to respect the possibility of White lobbing it up to Rob, who’s arguably one of the best above the rim players in the NBA.

Rob filled the lane flawlessly, it even looked like he was going to go up for the lob, at least he wanted it anyways.

It’s great to see the connection growing stronger between White and Rob.
