Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics: Injury report ahead of Game 55 vs 76ers

The Boston Celtics had a late addition to their injury report on Monday with Jaylen Brown developing an illness that kept him sidelined. It’ll be all hands on deck tonight, as the Philadelphia 76ers will be in Boston.

For the Celtics

Marcus Smart remains out with an ankle injury he suffered almost three weeks ago now in Toronto. I said this during the last injury report, Smart should remain out through the All-Star break to further heal his ankle.

Luke Kornet is day-to-day with an ankle injury he took on Friday night vs the Phoenix Suns. He’ll likely be a game time decision tonight vs the 76ers.

Jaylen Brown is day-to-day with a non-COVID illness that had him sidelined on Monday vs Detroit.

Rob Williams tweaked his ankle the last time out vs Detroit and is probable for tonight’s game vs Philly.

Danilo Gallinari remains out with ACL recovery.

For the 76ers

Joel Embiid was a late addition to the 76ers injury report Tuesday night, tagged as day-to-day with a foot injury.

We’ll continue to monitor the injury report leading up to tipoff in Boston at 7:30 PM.
