Boston Celtics versatile two-way player Grant Williams was voted in as vice president of the NBAPA in 2021, replacing the vacant role of CJ McCollum, who was elevated to become the new president.
With the NBAPA’s election results, Grant is now the first Vice President to serve a four-year term.
This is an important accomplishment for Grant, who’s one of the most intelligent young minds in the NBA and will always fights for players rights, as we’ve seen many times in the way he complains about calls to the officials.
Along with Grant, Malcolm Brogdon and Jaylen Brown also proudly serve in the NBAPA, making the Celtics well represented in that office.
Grant’s promotion is effective immediately.
