Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Celtics Files: Stevens, Robinson, Cenac Jr, Summer League, Other Notes & Takeaways

After a first round playoff exit, the Boston Celtics have been busy this offseason. It started with trading Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers- their rival team that eliminated them from the playoffs.

Since being eliminated from the playoffs, Celtics GM Brad Stevens has had two press conferences. The first was his end of the season interview after losing in the first round, and the second was more recently after the NBA Draft.

On Monday, however, Stevens and majority owner Bill Chisholm will have a press conference to discuss all their offseason decisions. More specifically, what went into trading Brown when they did, for whom they did, and for the compensation they accepted- Paul George, two first round picks and two second round picks.

Additionally, the Celtics signed free agent big man Mitchell Robinson to bolster the frontcourt and veteran guard Mike Conley Jr. to add depth and consistency to the position.

The press conference with Stevens and Chisholm is set to start at 4 PM from the Auerbach Center.
