Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Poor effort down the stretch cost Celtics Game 4

The Boston Celtics started the game off hot and ready to put on a show for their home crowd and they did for about three and a half quarters in Game 4.

For most of the game, the Celtics were on top and took a five point lead at halftime, 54-49. It wasnโ€™t pretty by any means, Tatum and Brown only made one shot each in the third quarter and it didnโ€™t get better in the fourth.

The Celtics were down by one, 78-79, to start the fourth quarter. And with just under eight minutes left in the game, the Celtics had a five point lead. However, some bad habits and poor play down the stretch cost the Celtics a home victory.

The team understands they let this one slip away from them, at home nonetheless and now will have to win at least one more game on the road to win the series.
